This immediate opening is positioned in some of the most sought-after work in this development and engineering community. In this role you will work to develop embedded software as a part of a multidisciplinary engineering team building custom hardware and software products. What You'll Be Doing: Develop embedded software Develop software drivers and applications Process digital signals Develop Client/server applications Analyze and implement Legacy and current processor technology Analyze and implement Operating systems, architectures, and interfaces Develop code using Assembly and high-level programming languages Reverse engineer software/code Participate in and moderate peer review software Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph A minimum of five (5) years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test to include writing clear, concise, functioning and fully commented code, and a Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two (2) years of experience. Four (4) years of additional experience in software and firmware design, development, and test may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. Desired Qualifications: Programming experience for embedded Linux both user-space and kernel-mode software in C Low-level development experience – e.g. interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, reading/writing Flash memory, etc. Development experience with Linux on ARM-based platforms USB protocol and driver experience Understanding of GNU Make Python experience Automated testing, unit test level Experience with automake/autoconf suite Experience supporting patches for software development projects Experience with the creation of Linux packages e.g. OpenWRT/LEDE or RPM package for Fedora/Red Hat Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
